bottlesMilkSplash® Turns Plain Milk into a Delicious Snack for Kids

It is no secret that milk is a great source of bone-building calcium and other vitamins and nutrients our bodies need. But how many times do parents have to tell their kids, “Drink your milk!”? Now there’s an easier way to make sure kids get the vitamins and nutrients they need – MilkSplash®. MilkSplash is a zero-calorie liquid flavoring that makes plain milk a delicious snack for kids. There are five flavors from which to choose–Coco Loco, Sir Strawberry Swirl®, Orange Cream, Cookies ‘N Cream, and Jammin’ Banana.  MilkSplash is also a great alternative to syrupy or high-calorie flavorings in a variety of foods, from ice cream to baked goods. It can be added to smoothies, protein shakes, pancakes, waffles, muffins, or to turn plain yogurt into a tasty treat– with no added calories.  For more information visit http://milksplash.com/.

Watch Your Creativity Bloom

flowerFloral design is a form of art at the Winston-Salem Flower School!  Students learn floral design techniques at themed two-hour classes offered by Amy Dunlap, founder and owner of WSFS and Amy Lynne Originals.  All the classes begin with a demonstration where students learn the steps of the design process.  Then, students enjoy light refreshments and lively conversation as they put their own creative spin on their design, getting feedback and advice from Amy.  Morning and evening sessions are offered for each group class.  WSFS provides the design expertise, high-quality flowers, and materials while students provide the creativity and imagination.  The BYOC (Bring Your Own Container) class on July 7 is filling fast and the Parent/Child Design Date is coming up on August 13.  Visit www.wsflowerschool.com for the 2015 class schedule and to register online.  Follow WSFS on Facebook to stay up to date on what’s happening in the studio.
