In this week’s Sunday Spotlight we feature upcoming events for families and adults. Mark your calendars for

~ Greensboro Day’s Be A Bengal For A Day
~ Brenner’s Cheers Event
~ Forsyth Family Expo
~ Camp Hanes Open House

Details below.

Why choose one when your child can have it all?

Art, science, music, technology, foreign language – many schools specialize in certain areas. At 5-years-old, it is difficult to tell what your child’s strengths, interests or passions will become. Yet, parents are being asked to make a choice for their children very early in their lives. Greensboro Day School offers students opportunities in a variety of areas, from hands-on science instruction to performing and visual arts to technology programs with a differentiated learning environment. Have your child experience the opportunities that Greensboro Day School offers every student. Interested students can experience a “snapshot” of life as a Greensboro Day School Bengal on February 18, 2015. They will experience classes, tour campus and meet faculty and staff. Parents will have the opportunity to meet division directors and learn about the GDS program. For information about Be A Bengal For A Day, go to www.greensboroday.org/visit. For questions, please contact the Admission Office, at 288-8590.

YMCA Camp Hanes Open House

At YMCA Camp Hanes, you get to “unplug” and enjoy all kinds of exciting things that you can’t do at home. And in the process, you’ll learn new skills and make new friends (and memories) that you’ll cherish forever. You can be yourself, while having a great time and building your self-confidence at your own pace. So why do so many kids come back every summer? Ask the campers, and they’ll tell you it’s because of the terrific experiences they have here. Ask the campers’ parents, and they’ll say that their child seems more confident. Or more motivated. Or more outgoing. The laughter and adventure and fellowship that thrive here at YMCA Camp Hanes may last only one or two weeks each summer. But the memories – and the lessons – will last a lifetime. Visit Camp Hanes on April 19th from 1-4pm for the Open House. Contact info: 336-983-3131 or www.camphanes.org.

Don’t forget!
