Fit Family 5K:Running for a healthier tomorrow

Join Novant Health on Saturday, April 26 at William G. White, Jr. Family YMCA in Winston-Salem, NC. Plan to run for a healthier tomorrow! This is for runners and walkers of all levels and ages. A one-mile fun run around Hanes Park is a flat course ideal for children of all ages and abilities. The 5K course begins near the William G. White Family YMCA on West End Boulevard and climbs through the West Highlands and into Buena Vista where it turns back at the halfway point for a downhill, fast finish at the YMCA on West End Blvd. Register for the one-mile fun run  or 5K at JonesRacingCompany.com/fit-family-5kRace proceeds benefit Girls on the Run and Novant Health Foundation Forsyth Medical Center.

News from the Children’s Museum of Winston-Salem

– Make plans to attend Star Wars Day, on Sunday, April 27th, from 1-5pm. Meet exciting characters from the Star Wars universe. The Museum is only open on 4/27 for this fundraiser.

TMoM Event: “One Size Does Not Fit All”

“One Size Does Not Fit All” will take place on Thursday, April 24 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Novant Health Conference Center at Forsyth Medical Center. This is a FREE event hosted by your very own, Triad Moms on Main team. Parking in the Forsyth Medical Center parking deck is free to the first 200 attendees. Stop by during your lunch break, or pop in with girlfriends. You’ll get to talk to representatives from every aspect of wellness – from nutritionists and dieticians to exercise experts. Walk around and visit their booths, or try out a ‘mini-class’, 15-20 minute exercise or nutrition demonstrations. There will be door prizes, fun, and lots of information for everybody, and every body! Mom’s Night Out!

Join Triad Moms on Main and Dishcrawl as we celebrate moms around the country when Mom’s Night Out comes to Winston-Salem on May 6th!  We are so excited to be mingling at District Rooftop Bar & Grille, 770 Liberty View Court beginning at 6:30pm.
