St. Leo Parish Catholic School

Founded in 1953, St. Leo Parish School serves children in Preschool through 8th Grade.  They offer a faith-based liberal arts curriculum with emphasis on literacy through phonics, grammar and handwriting, math and science proficiency, exposure to three foreign languages (Chinese, French, Spanish), music/art appreciation and teamwork through our athletic program.  They are committed to developing the whole child within the framework of Gospel values.  Saint Leo focuses on rigorous academics, personal responsibility and service to others in light of the Gospels. Join the March of Dimes on November 13, 2015 for the March of Dimes 10th Annual Winston-Salem Signature Chefs Auction.  This gourmet extravaganza and live auction pays tribute to some of the finest chefs and restaurants in the area, while helping raise awareness and funds to help prevent premature birth, birth defects and infant mortality. This year, Dr. William M. Satterwhite, Chief Health and Wellness Officer for Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center, serves as our 2015 Honorary Chair.  The event will also highlight our 2015 Ambassador Family – Anna and Tate Rice and their children, Will, Sally and Gigi.  Eleven years ago, Sally was born with Down syndrome and spent almost five months in the NICU due to heart complications.  To join the fight for healthy babies and to support Dr. Satterwhite and the Rice Family click here or email Meghan Zackery at mzackery@marchofdimes.org.
