Buses are rolling. The weather is getting cooler. Pumpkin-spiced “everything” has arrived!

And the School of Greensboro Ballet is now enrolling for Fall classes, for dancers of all ages!

Greensboro Ballet’s mission is to inspire, invigorate and excite their audiences and artists through the exciting, ever evolving art of Classical Ballet. The School of Greensboro Ballet is the only non-profit ballet school in the Greensboro area and one of a relative few in the country. Their goal is to offer the finest dance education to children of all ages and adults. At SGB, your child will learn the art of dance in an environment of both discipline and fun!

The School offers the following classes and NEW 6-week sessions:

Children’s Dance for Ages 3-6

Classical Ballet for Ages 7 & up

Other classes include Jazz, Modern, Pointe and Ballroom

NEW! Mommy & Me sessions for ages 18 months-2 years

NEW! Teen/Adult Beginning and Intermediate sessions for ages 13 & up

The Children’s Dance Program has a well researched curriculum called Leap ’N Learn, just for children ages 3-6. Creative games are played so that the children can learn without even realizing it. So in other words, they just have a lot of fun (while strengthening their muscles, learning musicality, improving basic motor skills and more).

Older students are eligible to audition for Greensboro Ballet’s annual holiday production of “The Nutcracker,” performed at the Carolina Theatre.  They are also given the opportunity to have master classes and perform with nationally recognized artists from companies like NY City Ballet, American Ballet Theatre, Washington Ballet and more.

Greensboro Ballet is also a winner of Triad Mom’s on Main 2017 “Best Child Enrichment Program” for the Greensboro/High Point area!
