Did you know that one million STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) positions are projected to go unfilled by the year 2020? At iD Tech Camps, students take interests further and gain a competitive advantage for school, college, and future careers in STEM. There are various camps around the USA in places such as UNC Chapel-Hill, NC State, Stanford, Yale and over 80 prestigious universities nationwide.

Kids and teens ages 7-17 create apps, video games, mods with Minecraft, programs in C++ or Java, robots, websites, movies, and more. Students can make their own video game or learn to program their very own iPhone or Android app! Maybe they will code the next big thing in C++ or Java. They could even design a website or produce a film. The sky is the limit and instruction is personalized so students remain enthusiastic and interested in their projects. Courses are hands-on, high-energy, and presented in a fun camp environment.

The labs buzz with enthusiasm and laughter, classes are small (only 8 students per instructor), and students work one-on-one with hip, tech-savvy instructors. iD Tech Camps have earned the title as the best summer technology camp. They have respectfully created a “No CIT” policy. This guarantees you will be instructed and supervised by paid adult staff—not teenagers of camp age. Instructors work hands-on with each student and are experts at blending the traditional camp experience with cutting-edge technology education. They hold their programs at prestigious universities and colleges nationwide to emphasize the importance of higher education, giving you an immersive introduction of collegiate life.

Why Over 170,000 Students Have Chosen iD Tech Camps:

~ Week-long, day, and overnight summer programs for ages 7-17.
~ Over 80 prestigious university locations in 28 states including UNC Chapel-Hill, NC State, and others.

~ A well-balanced experience.  STEM learning and fun camp activities.
~ Students take home their own project at the end of each session.
~ Accredited Continuing Education Units available from Stanford or Villanova.

A typical day at iD Tech Camps maintains a common-sense balance of indoor/outdoor time. They take time out for outdoor games, movie nights, talent shows, campus exploration, and gaming competitions and spend about 5 hours in the lab each day. On Fridays, families are invited for a “family showcase” to see what the students have been learning all week. Visit the Sample Day & Week page for more information.

iD Tech Camps understand that modern parenting means being extra flexible and easily accessible. Checking in to camp should not take longer than 5 minutes due to technology and innovation. Commuting students have a wide check-in window from 8-9 AM and pick-up from 5-6 PM at no extra cost. If you enroll for camp today, but need to make changes because of summer vacation, summer school, etc…there are no change fees up until 3 weeks to the start of your session.

Also available are 2-week, pre-college, intensive iD Tech Academies: iD Programming Academy (held at UNC-Chapel Hill), iD Game Design & Development Academy, and iD Film Academy.
