Special Valentine’s Promotion for Ice Skating Classes
Greensboro was graced with the presence of hundreds of athletes recently competing at the US Figure Skating Championships. Ice dancers, pair teams, men and women descended upon our city to share their talent as we watched in wonder. The excitement generated by this premier sporting event has been tremendous and the Greensboro Ice House would like to extend an invitation to anyone inspired by the Championships to try their hand at skating! We’re offering a special Valentine’s promotion of 3 classes for $30. This sweet deal starts on Saturday, February 14th and runs through Saturday, February 28th. These introductory classes meet from 10-10:30am and are open to skaters 4 years old and up. The Greensboro Ice House boasts an array of skating opportunities including daily public sessions, extended weekend public skating, awesome birthday parties and discounts for your group’s next outing. Kids Morning Out at Winston-Salem Soccerplex
Join the fun with Forsyth Family magazine at this month’s Kids Morning Out on Thursday, February 12 from 10 am to Noon at the Winston-Salem Soccerplex, located at 7620 Phoenix Drive. This event is FREE during alloted times. The Soccerplex features two indoor turf fields available for league play and rentals, with high quality dasher boards surrounding the fields. A mezzanine area is available for spectators to help them have the best view of the action! Expect lots of fun soccer games and relays, including skills you can teach your preschooler, all taking place at this indoor facility. While you’re there you can ask the professionals about the many benefits of getting your child involved in soccer. Each adult attendee will receive four tickets to the fabulous prize board.
