Have you been to Noble’s Grille lately? If not, it’s worth the trip. No longer is Noble’s Grille a formal, white tablecloth, special occasion only dining experience. It’s so much more, serving the same quality gourmet food with an expanded menu that accommodates any palate or occasion.

For a casual meal sitting at the bar with your spouse or a group of friends sharing plates over glasses of wine, Noble’s Grille has several small plates and bar bites to choose from, including classics like their House Pimento Cheese with Wood-Fired Bread Snaps and Jimmy’s Fried Oysters, or new favorites like Hushpuppy Dusted Fried Shrimp and House Made Country Pate. For a special occasion or if you’re just in the mood for a sit down dinner, big plates are still available like the Wood Grilled Pork Tenderloin with roasted fingerlings and shitake mushrooms or Pan Seared Hog Snapper over corn risotto with red, yellow and poblano peppers. Or, for the adventurous, compose your own plate with their a la carte options including a list of delicious sides like Buttered Butter Beans, Rosa’s Pan Fried Green Beans or Margaux’s Succotash. Of course they still have the best Fried Oyster Salad as well as wood-fired, hand-tossed pizzas and their famous Tomato Basil Bisque!

The restaurant’s elegant design inspired by the wine country and its welcoming bar area and cozy patio make it the perfect spot to meet with friends to grab a bite or have a drink. Monday through Thursday the Grille offers $2.99 glasses of wine all day (selected wines only) and half price appetizers from 5-6:30pm!

If it’s lunch you want, bring the girls and enjoy the Pear and Danish Blue Pizza with blue cheese, caramelized onions, and arugula, the Shrimp and Grits with bacon and tomato butter or the Arugula Salad with grapes, haricot verts, chevre, walnut vinaigrette and added wood-grilled Salmon.
They also have a wonderful kid’s menu complete with a rooster outline and crayons for coloring. Each month the restaurant picks one young ‘artist’ to win a pizza party for six. The winner’s rooster is featured in the restaurant’s Facebook profile picture for a month.

Summer is an especially great time to visit the Grille with outdoor dining available on their patio and plenty of fresh, local produce in the kitchen. Noble’s Grille is a proud supporter of local farms and organizations such as Pilot Mountain Pride, Piedmont Local Food, Goat Lady Dairy and Harmony Ridge Farms (to name a few) and they tailor their menus to reflect the fresh ingredients available at that time. A few suggestions would be the Fried Squash with Cholula aioli or the oven roasted Fingerling Potatoes.

In an effort to spread the word on buying and eating locally grown food, the Grille is teaming up with Harmony Ridge Farms to host a dinner on July 22nd at 6:30pm. Chef Phil Barnes will prepare a delicious meal to delight your taste buds while farm owners Kevin and Isaac Oliver will provide diners with an insight into farming as well as tips about local produce.
