Your Child will Bloom at St. Leo

Spring has sprung (despite the snow we had recently).  Are you looking for a school for your rising Kindergartner, rising Middle Schooler or looking at options for your child’s education? St. Leo Catholic School may be the perfect place for your child to bloom.  Serving Preschool through 8th Grade, St. Leo Catholic School recognizes that each student is an individual with differing learning styles and needs.  They focus on rigorous academics, personal responsibility and community service in light of the Gospel values.  Since 2013, at least 32% of their students in 4th through 7th grade have scored in the 95th percentile or higher on specific standardized test scores and qualify for the Duke University Talent Identification Program (TIP) which is a testament to their rigorous academic curriculum. To ensure every child reaches his/her full potential, the school offers a range of opportunities to support and enrich each learner.  At St. Leo, the focus is on the unique gifts and talents that your child possesses and meeting his/her individual needs.  Visit their website to learn more.

Resources for Special Needs

Speech Therapy, Down Syndrome, Autism, ADHD, Developmental Disabilities, Terminal Illness … when you child has a special need, it can be lonely until you find a group who completely understands. We know it takes a village to raise a child, and sometimes parents need special support beyond our typical villages. That is why we created a directory of special needs resources that features local services and other supportive programs that benefit children with special needs and their families. Click HERE to visit our directory of Resources for Special Needs. If we forgot to add your favorite resource, email me at Katie@TriadMomsOnMain.com and we’ll get it added.

Triad Private Schools Directory

If you are considering a private school for your child, there are many factors to consider. Are the academics top-notch? Are the classes a good size? What are the experiences of the teachers? Is the school small enough? Big enough? Is it Christian based? Is the athletic program strong? And the questions can go on and on and on. Fortunately there are numerous great private schools within the Triad. In an attempt to help you narrow down your choices and find a good match for your family, we compiled a list of schools in all three major cities of the Triad recommended by our readers. Click HERE to view our updated directory of Private Schools. If we forgot to add your favorite school, email me at Katie@TriadMomsOnMain.com and we’ll get it added.
