These classes offer more in-depth instruction in the many areas of art.
Grades K-2 – Each month we will cover a wide range of media and explore different techniques in drawing, painting, collage and 3-dimensional art. We will learn about different artists throughout history and how our creations are similar to theirs.
Grades 3-5 – We will cover different media and different techniques in drawing, painting, collage and 3-dimensional art. Our primary focus will shift to drawing and painting skills as we also learn about different artists throughout history and how our art work is similar to theirs.
Grades 6-8 – Middle school students will explore and learn about the history of art and different artists of each period. All age groups will explore different and more advanced media than that offered in large school classes. Just as each month builds on skills previously learned, each year also builds upon the previous one.
