What does a High Point Friends School education mean?

Friends education focuses on the belief that every individual has the “light of God within.” Teachers mentor and encourage each student to reach their potential as learners and community leaders. At High Point Friends School, they believe that students thrive in an environment that nurtures their spirits and challenges them to develop a passion and curiosity for learning. Classrooms are collaborative and creative and students are encouraged to explore ideas while developing their confidence and skills. By the time a question or theory has been explored, they have laughed, they have been frustrated, they’ve complained, they’ve questioned, and they’ve celebrated. They are encouraged by word and example to respect a variety of perspectives in a diverse learning community centered on the core Quaker values of simplicity, peace, integrity, community, equality and stewardship. Come and see classrooms in action, and discover what a High Point Friends education could mean for your child. Visit the website here for more information.
