Paws & Claus

December 2 @ 8:00 am - 5:00 pm

$20

The Snob Shop will host the second annual Paws & Claus event on December 2, 2023

The Snob Shop, a locally owned consignment shop, has had a longstanding partnership with Forsyth Humane Society. The two organizations have teamed up to bring you Paws & Claus, a pet portrait event with Santa.
On Saturday, December 2, from 10am – 2pm the annual Paws & Claus event will be held at The Snob Shop. For a $20 donation, you will receive a digital copy of a holiday card featuring your favorite four-legged friends posing with Santa. 100% of the proceeds will go to the Forsyth Humane Society. Santa will pose for a portrait with your pets in front of a holiday backdrop, and participants will have a variety of digital cards to choose from, which will be emailed to them.
Why did The Snob Shop and FHS come together for this event? Well, pets have become such a large part of family life – with 66% of US households owning a pet. Pets are considered in so many of our day to day decisions, including the holidays, so they wanted to show appreciation while also raising money for a good cause.

About Forsyth Humane Society
FHS has become the leading nonprofit organization in the Triad, focusing on bringing information and awareness on all things animal resources, from spay and neuter clinics, to food assistance. They are the only open admission animal shelter in Forsyth County, meaning they take in all homeless pets. FHS does so much more than just sheltering and taking in on average roughly 200 cats and dogs a month; they have an extremely active pet pantry. This year alone, they have distributed over $200,000 of pet food to the community, in an effort to keep pets and their families together, and to lessen the number of animals in the shelters.

About The Snob Shop
Since first opening in 1974, The Snob Shop has been a consignment staple in the community. It is and always has been proudly female owned and operated, and its goal is to provide customers with high quality, fairly priced offerings while simultaneously providing consignors the best return on consigned items. After being in business for almost 50 years, Snob has become a part of the community’s lives; many customers shopping and consigning for decades.
