This weekend, we thought we would start off with a business that holds an event just twice a year, and luckily, the spring sale is right around the corner! In case you haven’t heard, Children’s Boutique Resale is back! At the Triad’s only bi-annual boutique clothing consignment sale, you’ll find designer and boutique clothing and shoes for infants to teens, and maternity wear, too. If you’re like so many Triad Moms who want their little ones looking their best, but can’t afford to drop $100 for just a couple of items, then check out the fabulous finds at Children’s Boutique Resale’s Spring Sale!
Children’s Boutique Resale (CBR), like so many great ideas, was born out of necessity. Kari Allison, a Winston Salem mompreneur, launched CBR after her favorite children’s consignment store closed. “I believe strongly in making the most of what you have. Re-selling fine clothing is the best of both worlds for me. I can dress my children the way I love and know that when they have outgrown their beloved Hannas, someone else will get to enjoy them.”
CBR’s motto, “Wear it. Love it. Pass it on.” is not just a slogan. Kari hopes that CBR will help to teach her own children the beauty of passing on, not discarding, and the art of budgeting and living within your means. She also hopes to empower other moms to do the same and make their homes a little less cluttered each season!
