Jedi warriors and storm troopers take note! On Sunday, April 17th at 3 p.m., the Winston-Salem Symphony will celebrate the premiere of Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens with a concert of music from the Star Wars movies, written by one of America’s most celebrated living composers, John Williams. The music from Star Wars is some of the most beloved in the history of film music, including the “Main Theme,” the “Imperial March,” and the “Duel of the Fates.” Members of the elite 501st Legion (Star Wars characters) will be in attendance. The concert takes place at Reynolds Auditorium and as always the doors open at 2 p.m. for a variety of fun hands-on activities for kids .
