Families are invited to a community celebration – the annual Earth Day Fair – on Saturday, April 21, 2017 from 10AM – 4 PM at the Winston-Salem Fairgrounds. The festival, hosted by local non-profit organization Piedmont Environmental Alliance, is packed with family-friendly activities and programs, great food and music, and interesting exhibits – all free to the public.

The Fair’s top-notch children’s activities will include arts and crafts, face-painting, yoga and more. Community partners such as Kaleideum, Sawtooth School for Visual Art, and Art for Art’s Sake will offer featured activities, and dozens of other exhibitors will provide creative activities to get kids thinking about the environment. Children who participate in several activities can win a prize when they redeem an “eco stamp card” at the PEA booth. A $5 donation at the entrance gets you a free lemonade, popcorn and facepainting!
