Help GCS Celebrate Volunteers!

National Volunteer Week, April 23-29, is about inspiring, recognizing and encouraging individuals to engage in their communities. Guilford County Schools (GCS) thanks its volunteers who help schools and students soar to greatness. Join them as they celebrate their volunteers during this special week. As a way to say thank you, they are asking you to post stories and pictures on social media about a GCS volunteer using the hashtag #GCSVolunteersSOAR. Stories received could be featured on the GCS web site, GCSTV or other local media outlet during National Volunteer Week.

This year, GCS has partnered with the High Point Enterprise to spotlight soaring volunteers who serve the High Point area schools with a tribute in its publication on Saturday, April 29. Send stories and photos of volunteers who make a difference to gscvolunteers@gcsnc.com. The deadline for submissions is Tuesday, April 25.
