Kaleideum has been celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Apollo 11 Moon landing through its Moonstruck Summer, and on Friday, August 16, the Museum is having a Moonstruck Sensory Friendly Night.

Children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and sensory processing differences are invited to Kaleideum North to have an enjoyable and interactive learning experience in a comfortable, accepting environment. Visitors can experiment with hands-on moon activities, explore the Museum exhibits, experience a Moon-themed storytime, and even make their own Moon to take home!

Visitors to Sensory Friendly Night are also invited to wear their favorite “out-of-this-world” outfit to celebrate the historic Moon landing. Admission is $3 per person for members and non-members.

Both Kaleideum locations offer social narratives and sensory friendly backpacks.  Learn more here!
