“We’re all in it together” — that’s the mentality at NC Rowing. They place a focus on friendship building and use this gorgeous and wonderfully challenging sport to help you develop positive relationships and become the best you can be in body, mind and spirit! Whether you are looking for a competitive team sport or a great cross-training option, NC Rowing teaches the skills that you’ll carry with you throughout the rest of your life.

Rowers come to see that rowing is more than a sport — it’s a way of living. It has the power to shape who you are and how you approach life. You’ll learn how to respond to all kinds of conditions and how to make the best of situations — whatever comes your way. How to make smart decisions. How to leverage the power of collaboration. How to get your own, self-defined 100 percent out of yourself each day. Best of all, you’ll make life-long friendships in an environment where you learn how to believe in yourself.

Drawing from an intensive, year-long training and certification program from Community Rowing in Boston (one of the largest boathouses in the country), NC Rowing knows the best ways to coach rowing because they learned from the best. Join the NC Rowing family for a fun and exciting opportunity to recreate outside with a great team. Rowing will fast become the thing in your day you look forward to more than anything else.

NC Rowing values people, and has seen what rowing can do for people. Youth rowers learn how to grow up well and adult rowers discover how to live well. As beautiful and wonderfully challenging as the sport is, nothing matches the life lessons and the positive relationships that rowers gain. NC Rowing believes rowing is a life-changing experience on and off the water, which is why they want to bring it to more people, right here in Greensboro.
