Child Care Resource Center (formerly known as Work Family Resource Center) is your local expert Child Care Resource and Referral organization, serving nine Northwest North Carolina counties (Alleghany, Ashe, Davidson, Davie, Forsyth, Stokes, Surry, Wilkes and Yadkin) for over 28 years. Child Care Resource Center’s (CCRC) vision is to ensure quality early learning experiences for every child in our community. CCRC works with families and early childhood professionals to provide consumer education, referrals and resources to promote quality child care in our community.

Find Your Home at West Market Church

West Market Church is a vibrant congregation of people of all ages and stages of life who gather to worship, learn and serve together. Everyone is welcome, whether you’re young or old and no matter where you’ve been, or who you are. The children and youth programs are a dynamic place to raise your family and help them truly experience God’s love. West Market Church focuses on sharing the love of God in our community and world through mission projects.

Join them on Sunday morning for worship and small groups. Traditional service meets at 8:30am and 11am, the contemporary service begins at 9 am, and the small groups meet at 10am. During the week, join the kid mission projects on Wednesday afternoons from 4-5:30 pm. Throughout the week, West Market has many groups to plug into and become a part of the community. Frozen Fun at the Greensboro Ice House

The air is cool, and so are Learn to Figure Skate and Learn to Hockey Skate classes at the Greensboro Ice House! Classes are open to skaters 4-years-old through adults of any age. Fall classes are underway, but late enrollment is accepted with remaining classes pro-rated.

Join the Ice House for a spooky good time at the annual Halloween party on Saturday, October 26th from 7:30-10pm. The party includes a costume contest, games, prizes and more. Wear a costume to receive 50% off admission! Weekend public skating sessions offer a one of a kind outing for individuals, families, groups or couples! Enjoy this quintessential chilly weather activity and glide your way into the holiday season. Ice skating birthday parties are one of the rink’s most popular attractions. This year, Madalyn Yates Photography is offering Cozy Christmas Mini Sessions! Enjoy the Cozy Christmas lounge for sweet family portraits! There will be something for the whole family. Perfect for your Christmas cards or gifting for friends & families.

Sessions are 30 minutes each & you’ll receive 20 images via an online gallery.
