Music Carolina presents a family-friendly concert of Peter and the Wolf

A Winston-Salem holiday tradition and a favorite for children of all ages, “Peter and the Wolf“ will be performed on Thursday, December 27 at 11:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. at the Auditorium at Centenary United Methodist Church. The music by Sergei Prokofiev is performed by the Music Carolina Wind Quintet, with added percussion. Members of the ensemble include: Debra Pivetta, flute; Anna Lampidis, oboe; Ron Rudkin, clarinet; Joe Mount, French horn; Carol Bernstorf, bassoon; and Beverly Naiditch, percussion. This year’s performances will be narrated by singer Jason McKinney. McKinney is well known for his performances with opera companies in North Carolina and worldwide.
