Greensboro Day School Offering On-Campus and Remote Learning Options

Greensboro Day School safely returned to in-person learning in August, providing families around the Triad with the flexibility to choose on-campus or remote instruction.

With added health and safety protocols, students age 2 through grade 12 continue to be challenged, encouraged, and cared for by dedicated, creative, and highly trained teachers. Teachers utilize all corners of Greensboro Day School’s 65-acre campus to provide learning opportunities in the classroom and outdoors, using the school’s learning pond, teaching gardens, hiking trails, and green space as outdoor classrooms.

If you are searching for a school that provides academic success, character and leadership development, unsurpassed facilities, and helps prepare students as they grow and mature, schedule a personal tour at greensboroday.org/visit.

Tap That Axe Throwing

Tap That Axe Throwing is bringing you the hottest trend in indoor sports and giving you a fun and relaxing atmosphere to hang out and relieve some stress. They offer the opportunity to do something unique with friends and family in a safe and controlled environment. Never thrown an axe? No problem, Tap That Axe Throwing provides safety and game training at each session.

Not only can you throw axes, but you can enjoy the bar and lounge area while you wait and listen to some of your favorite music. As a supporter of our community, they will offer local craft beer, wine, cider and other non-alcoholic beverages while you throw.

The facility is perfect for all occasions! Bring on your birthday parties, bachelor/bachelorette parties, ladies/guys night out, date nights and corporate events. Throwing axes is the best way to promote team building amongst peers and friends. Follow them on Facebook and Instagram.

Pumpkins and Mazes and Hayrides .. Oh My!

The temps are dropping, the leaves are falling, and football has begun. This also means that it’s the perfect time to visit a nearby Pumpkin Patch. We’ve got plenty to choose from in the Triad area, and luckily many have reopened this season while following CDC guidelines. You can view our Pumpkin Patch directory here. We’ve also made note of fun activities that some of these farms offer, such as hayrides, corn mazes, pony rides, and more! We will be updating this directory on a weekly basis as farms solidify their schedules. Plan a fun outing for your family, and please tell them that Triad Moms on Main sent you!
