Calling all rising kindergartners! Saturday, August 1 from 10 am to 1 pm, the Children’s Museum of Winston-Salem will be getting ready for school with Kickoff to Kindergarten! Climb aboard an actual school bus, go through a pretend lunch line featuring healthy snacks, and enjoy storytimes, a craft, and more! All rising kindergartners will receive FREE museum admission!
Peppercorn Theatre’s The Servant of Two Masters, will run August 7-16 at CMWS. Join Truffaldino, a clever and quirky servant in Italy as he sets out to do the near impossible – work for two masters at the same time. Soon enough, the tasks add up and multiply when his math skills aren’t up to par. With help from the audience, watch Truffaldino divide the labor as NC Common Core State Standards for Mathematics are incorporated into this breathless farce.
The Winston-Salem Dash are in town this week at BB&T Ballpark with a six-game homestand starting on Tuesday. Tickets are on sale now and can be purchased at www.wsdash.com or by calling 714-2287. Make sure to catch the Dash before summer is over!You will not want to miss any of these great nights at the ballpark!
