Half-Priced Fridays at the Greensboro Children’s Museum
The Greensboro Children’s Museum knows that after a whole week of school the family might be ready for some fun! That’s why the Museum offers half-price admission from 5p-8p every Friday! And while school might be out, the education doesn’t stop.
Kids are always playing to learn in GCM’s 20+ indoor and outdoor exhibits. So, come with your friends and family in tow and celebrate the week’s end at GCM!

Pregnant in the Piedmont – Saturday, September 17
If you are expecting, a new mom, or just need some good parenting resources, then don’t miss Pregnant in the Piedmont. It’s a FREE outdoor event held on Saturday, September 17 from 12 to 4 pm at the Novant Health location at Hanes Mall in Winston-Salem. This pregnancy, baby, early childhood, and parenting expo is presented by Piedmont Doulas. The event, Pregnant In The Piedmont, will offer numerous medical resources for pregnancy and early childhood, as well as nonprofit and community resources. Journey to Brave – Thursday, September 22
Join Kellin Foundation from 6-8 PM on Thursday, September 22nd, at Center City Park in Greensboro for Journey to Brave, a family-friendly concert and celebration featuring the music of folk-rock new grass band Gipsy Danger. The event, emceed by WFMY news anchor Tanya Rivera, celebrates this year’s merger of the Kellin Foundation and Mental Health Greensboro.
Admission is free but donations are encouraged. Text J2B to 44-321 to donate! All money raised will benefit the free mental health services that Kellin Foundation provides to over 13,000 children and adults annually in Guilford County.
