Delicious Fun at Black Mountain Chocolate

Where can you find delicious fun for both moms and kids? At Winston’s chocolate factory, of course! At Black Mountain Chocolate, the little Factory has big glass windows, with a series of interesting displays to explain how the cacao fruit becomes chocolate. The roaster looks like Thomas the Tank Engine, and kids love the chocolate fountain that molds the bars. On any visit, you might see roasting, winnowing, grinding, tempering or hand-wrapping. Self-guided tours are available any time the Factory is open. Best of all, there are always free samples available!

In BMC’s Kitchen, the pastry chef turns the chocolate into a delicious array of treats. You’ll find brownies, cookies and tarts, plus chocolate-covered bonbons and gelato.
