Let the voting begin! The nominations from round one of the 2017 Choice awards contest have been tallied. The nominees with the most votes in each Triad area are listed below along with a link to their website. These finalists include the top three per category per city, however some categories have four finalists due to ties. We do not publicize which nominees tied, nor do we publicize who received the most or least nominations.

Please know that many finalists have venues in more than one Triad area, but we have listed only the areas for which they received the most votes and qualified as one of the top finalists.
