Don’t Miss the Piedmont Earth Day Fair on April 22!
Celebrate the planet and enjoy a FREE fun-filled day at the Piedmont Earth Day Fair on April 22rd from 10 am-4 pm at the Winston-Salem Fairgrounds. This family-friendly event, hosted by Piedmont Environmental Alliance, features activities and demonstrations, live music, food trucks, and more. Children’s activities include stories, crafts, seed planting, face-painting, and yoga, hosted by local children’s groups.
This event is rain or shine, and will move indoors if weather necessitates.

Brain-Building Support For Your Baby Through The Basics Guilford
The Basics Guilford aims to help every child reach their full potential through five science-based principles for caregivers of children birth to age 5. They are: 1) Maximize Love, Manage Stress 2) Count, Group, and Compare 3) Read and Discuss Stories, 4) Explore Through Movement and Play, and 5) Talk, Sing, and Point. If you are a Guilford County caregiver of a 0-5 year old, sign up for our free text messaging program that will send easy activities to help your child learn. Krossroads Playhouse Presents a Teen Performance Summer Camp
Krossroads Playhouse will conduct a musical theatre camp for young people ages 11-19 culminating with a performance of Anastasia, the Disney musical.
Camp leaders all have extensive theatrical education and experience and will ensure the atmosphere is supportive and encouraging. While all participants will be in the show, there will be an audition clinic. Professional headshots are included in the package. The camp will meet weekdays from 9 AM to noon at 130 E.
