2018 Journey to Brave: Fundraiser, Auction, and Benefit to support the Kellin Foundation

Are you ready to BE BRAVE and support children and families? ​Mark your calendars now for the 2018 Journey to Brave: Fundraiser, Auction, and Benefit to support the Kellin Foundation on September 28, 2018, at the Greensboro Country Club from 6:00pm-9:00pm.  The event is hosted by Jared Pike from Jared and Katie in the Morning on 1075 KZL, features both a live and silent auction that you won’t want to miss, and admission includes dinner and open bar.  From child victim advocacy after a child experiences a horrific event, to effective therapy and counseling, to youth leadership development programs, the Kellin Foundation’s innovative programming uses a holistic approach to reach the needs of those who have faced significant hardship and who otherwise would not have access to care. We serve over 4,700 children, adults, and families annually with excellent results, and we are proud to partner with dozens of agencies across the Triad to support our motto of making a difference together! Visit a Local Farmer’s Market

Visiting local farmer’s markets is one of the easiest ways to support local. Its can also be a fun family outing and a way for even the littlest ones in your family to choose healthy items to add to your weekly menu. We have a comprehensive directory of local Farmer’s Markets throughout the Triad, and most of these markets are open all through the Fall season and up to the holidays. Some are open year round. Apple picking is another fun adventure for families, and a great way to spend an afternoon outdoors.
