Halloween Fun at the Museums!

Visit the Children’s Museum for the Drop-in Spooky Gingerbread House Workshop starting at 10 a.m. Create a make-and-take mini gingerbread house for $6.40. (Plus admission) 

Have some lunch and then head to SciWorks at 1 p.m. for Trick-or-Treating, along with “spooky science” demos, Halloween Rock laser shows, and giveaways provided by Lowes Foods Reynolda Road. (Included with admission) 

Friday, October 28

Children with autism spectrum disorder and sensory processing differences are invited to the Children’s Museum for Sensory Friendly Night: Halloween Adventure. Trick-or-treat and visit the Museum in an accepting environment. 5 to 7:30 p.m. $3 per person. 

Sunday, October 30
Truck & Treat is a Children’s Museum tradition! Explore more than 25 vehicles, trick-or-treat, and enjoy DJ music, fun activities, a craft, and more! $5 for members and non-members. Museum admission included. Sponsored by Two Men and a Truck, Duke Energy, Tina S. Merhoff & Associates, and State Farm Donna M. Jones.

 

October Kids Morning Out

kmo1Join Forsyth Family magazine on Tuesday, October 11th from 10 am to Noon at Legacy Saddlebreds for the October KMO! This is a FREE event. Come check out the beautiful brand new facility and enjoy pony rides, several activity stations and a hayride! Plus, each adult gets 4 tickets for the fabulous prize board.
