A Local Holiday Tradition
The 37th Annual Mistletoe Run, presented by Bell, Davis & Pitt, is going virtual for the first time ever from now until December 13, 2020.
But just because it’s virtual doesn’t mean you have to go it alone. Join the Y’s Facebook group for Mistletoe runners to share your reason for running the annual race, training tips, and race results! Participants can choose to run/walk the actual route (Half Marathon, 5K, or 1 mile Fun Run) or anywhere else you choose — a greenway, your neighborhood, the local track, or even a treadmill! Socks for Seniors Drive
Let us not forget about our senior citizens and provide comfort for them! Kim Isaac with UNcommon Cleaning, along with Leaders of the New School, Inc., Chosen Childcare, and Baby’s World Daycare (all in Greensboro) will be providing homemade Christmas cards and warm socks to seniors in long-term care facilities. Please consider donating new socks at one of these Drop-Off locations:
~ Prestige Barber College, 2006 Phillips Ave, Greensboro
~ Heads Up Barbershop, 3208 B. West Gate City Blvd, Greensboro
Socks left over will be donated to the IRC and Backpack Beginnings. Thank you so much for helping our seniors this holiday season!
