Why Choose Imprints Cares After School Program?
Says Ruth, mom of Kelly, “I wanted to provide my daughter another avenue to explore her talents and continue her learning from the school day. I also hoped this would give her a chance to shine outside of the classroom without the school day stress of academic grades and testing. What we have seen—her confidence is building. She is developing social skills, dealing with new environments, talking to different adults, and making new friends. She is excited to learn more. She is excited about school. She is now excited about topics like science and technology. When I pick her up after a full day of school and Imprints Cares, her homework is done. Enjoying quality time together each evening is priceless. Thank you Imprints Cares.”
Join The Team!
At the YMCA, Youth Sports programs promote healthy kids, families and communities. When kids play sports they build confidence, discover their personal best, and have fun as part of a team. The YMCA offer sports programs for boys and girls aged 3-18. So now is the perfect time for your kids to start playing or continue building their skills in Soccer, Flag Football, Fall Baseball or Volleyball. Teams are forming now with seasons starting in August and September. Visit the Bryan, Spears, Ragsdale, Reidsville or new Hayes-Taylor YMCA locations or visit online at YMCAGreensboro.org for more information and to join the team! Early-bird Sign-up deadline is July 17th. The final deadline is July 30th. Volleyball sign-ups are later at some locations, so check the websites for more details.
Infant Swimming Resource Program
Through the ISR Self-Rescue™ program, your infant or young child can learn specialized survival skills and build a foundation for lifelong enjoyment of the water. ISR has been featured on The Today Show, Dateline, 20/20 and many other local media across the U.S. and abroad. You will be amazed when you see what your child may be able to do! ISR lessons include one-on-one specialized instruction from local mom, Darlene Haskins. She teaches classes right here in the Triad and is offering a free week of classes with purchase when you mention Triad Moms on Main. Watch this video for more info, as well as this one that explains why local families choose ISR, and contact Darlene at d.haskins@infantswim.com with questions or to sign up your child.
