On Saturday, June 10, the community is invited to come out to Country Park in Greensboro for the 2nd Annual Sunshine 5K & Family Festival to benefit children and families across North Carolina through Children’s Home Society. This family-friendly fun-filled morning is a benefit event to raise awareness and help support families across the state with the resources they need to be a forever family.

Festivities start at 8 a.m. with a 5K Walk/Run, as well as:

• Two Kids’ 100-Yard Dashes
• Music from DJ Doc Mike and Special Performers
• Princesses and Superheroes
• Food Trucks, Local Vendors, Games, Activities, and More!

All festivities will start and finish at the Jaycee Park parking lot located at 3802 Jaycee Park Drive, Greensboro.
