Looking for something fun to do with the family that’s off the beaten path? Check out Family Fun Day at Körner’s Folly!

This annual event features two showings of The Körner Family Revue Puppet Show, arts and craft activities, and historic yard games on the lawn, all for the regular museum admission price!

Visitors of all ages will enjoy wandering through this historic house museum, delighting in the oddities and maze-like construction that was originally built to showcase Jule Körner’s interior design portfolio. Featuring twenty-two rooms, seven different levels, fifteen fireplaces, and original furnishings, Körner’s Folly is truly an architectural wonder from the Victorian era dating back to 1880.

Hands-on activities help tell the story of Jule Körner and his family and make learning about local history fun, including a Scavenger Hunt, Photo Adventure, Please Touch Baskets, Get to Know the Victorians card decks.

Körner’s Folly is a historic house museum run by the Körner’s Folly Foundation, a non-profit organization. The mission of the Körner’s Folly Foundation is to restore and preserve Körner’s Folly for the education and enjoyment of the public. The house is open Wednesday – Sunday to the public for self-guided tours; call (336) 996-7922 to arrange for guided tours at least two weeks in advance.
