In case you haven’t noticed, we just unveiled a new look to our site! To celebrate, we are raffling off a $100 gift card of choice to one lucky and loyal TMoM reader. To enter, simply leave a comment on this post telling us what you love most about our new design. Your comment will be your entry in the contest. Be sure to include your email address when commenting so we have a way of contacting you if you are randomly chosen as our winner.
So go ahead and take a look around our newly designed site! Start on our home page here. Our website has all the same features as our last site, plus a few new options. The reason for our redesign was to create a web site that was much easier to navigate and find the important stuff on our site. Over the past couple of years we have learned that the three most important things to you are 1) An Event Calendar, 2) Directories of Information, and 3) A Daily Blog. These are the three most searched-for and visited sections on our site. Therefore we made these three sections front and center on our new site.
Additionally, we also created special sections depending on where you are in your journey of motherhood, as well as where you live in the Triad.
If you click “By Stage” at the top of our site, you now have the option to view blogs and directories that pertain directly to you. Whether you have a baby, a toddler or preschooler, a child in elementary school, a teen or tween, or if you are just interested in information for moms and dads – we now have dedicated pages for each of these stages.
Similarly, if you look at the very top right of our new site, you will see links for “Winston-Salem,” “Greensboro,” and “High Point & Kernersville.” These are special pages dedicated to featuring news and happenings in your specific area of the Triad. You can also search events local to you on each of these pages!
As always, we continue to feature blogs by the same topics from our previous site. If you click “By Topic” you will get a drop down menu that lets you search specifically by topic.
And finally, you can still find all the same features from our previous site on this new site as well – some items have just been moved around to different locations. In the end, you will discover how much easier it is to navigate our site and find exactly what you are looking for.
Over the next few weeks, please be patient as we work out some kinks with our site. If you have any questions, cannot find what you are looking for, or cannot get something to work on our site, please email me at Katie@TriadMomsOnMain.com or Rachel@TriadMomsOnMain.com to let us know right away.

Honestly, my favorite update is the newsletter layout! I usually come to the site through the newsletter and the last few links have only led me back to the homepage instead of a direct link to what I clicked in the newsletter. Haven’t had that problem since the new layout and it’s been super helpful!

I think it’s great how easy it is to find the information I’m looking for. The information I’m looking for most is front and center. Also, when I’m referring friends to the page, the information is right there and very easy for them to find as well.
You are my go to source for what’s buzzing in the Triad. I am a new transplant to NC and now adjusting from a working Mom to a stay at home Mom. It’s nice to put the glue gun down and read about events and activities that get me and my kiddos out the door to experience the Triad best and I always pass on suggestions to my fellow mommies looking for something to do to get us out of the house. Thank you. You’ve been a real life saver.

I love the changes to the events calendar. It’s so much easier to read and the ability to filter by location is clutch.
I love how user friendly it is. The breakdown of stages, topics and location makes it very easy to navigate without missing a beat. It also seems to be loading everything up quite quickly.

I’ve followed Triad Moms on Main for years and I absolutely love the latest update to your site! The landing page is so easy to navigate. I love being able to click on events and directories and to have all that info super quick. Being able to search my stage or topic in the pull menu is a great addition also. You did a wonderful job making the site user friendly and busy moms like me really appreciate it!

I rely on the events page to give me ideas for the upcoming weekend. I really like how the events page allows for different viewing formats. I don’t like the tiles, which was default, but I really like the agenda format, which allows me to scan through more quickly. It’s better than the old Google Calendar agenda view, as the new type is larger and easier to read, whether on a large screen or phone.
I appreciate the effort that goes into adding content and updating the interface. Keep up the great work. It’s a wonderful resource.

I really like the new layout! The EventCalendar is perfect for a mom like me. I depend on this site to keep me in the know due to not being from this area. The By Stage section is also very helpful because I can read based directly on my child’s current age range.
