An inspirational story about a fiercely ambitious young girl and aspiring pilot. Before turning ten, young B is determined to accomplish her life-long destiny of becoming a pilot using the makeshift airplane that she has built in her backyard. B is certain that before she could walk, she could fly. The ambitious B recounts the thrilling and legendary adventures of her hero Amelia Earhart within her airplane hoisted in her treehouse throughout the summer. One night a powerful thunderstorm rolls in causing lightning to strike B’s treehouse. After the thunderstorm, a mysterious birdlike older woman takes residence inside of B’s imaginary cockpit, whom she believes may be the reincarnation of her hero Amelia Earhart. Together they must help each other remember how to fly.
