Join Greensboro Montessori School for a virtual explanation of early childhood programs. Tour a Toddler and Primary classroom, meet the director of lower school, and see happy, independent children engaged in their learning. They will also share how they continue to meet the social, emotional, and cognitive needs of our students during COVID-19.

Families choose Greensboro Montessori School because the curriculum masterfully blends academic prowess with the development of skills necessary for a lifetime of achievement in a global society. Beginning at 18 months old, students learn how to work and play in culturally diverse, multiage learning communities. The goal of their academic work is mastery, not test preparation, and their studies are augmented by a wide array of cultural programming. Beginning in the primary division (preschool), students receive lessons in environmental education, Spanish, visual art, and world music. Beginning in first grade, students also take physical education.

Established in 1974, Greensboro Montessori School’s mission is to nurture and challenge students to develop the skills and courage they need to unleash their full potential. The School is located at 2856 Horse Pen Creek Road in Greensboro and can be reached online at gms.org and via telephone at 336-668-0119.
