If you – or someone you know – is expecting a baby (whether it be a first, third or tenth), you’ll want to know about Pregnant in the Piedmont! Triad Moms on Main is thrilled to be a presenting sponsor at this FREE pregnancy, baby and parenting expo.  More than 500 parents are expected to attend this event that will take place on Saturday, April 29 in the conference room at Novant Health Center from 10 am to 2 pm.

Pregnant in the Piedmont is presented by Piedmont Doulas, a local business that offers birth doulas, postpartum doulas and childbirth education. (Click HERE to see their latest post on TMoM). With a desire to bring pregnancy, birth and childhood businesses and information together under one roof, they began with an idea, and grew it to a yearly event.  Pregnant In The Piedmont showcases the area’s medical resources for pregnancy and baby, nonprofit and community resources, and also presents the many businesses in our area, that are focused on families.  The sponsors and vendors help to make Pregnant In The Piedmont the premiere event for growing families in the Piedmont Triad!

tiny talksMore than 50 sponsors and vendors will be present at the event, sharing information ranging from pregnancy, to your baby registry, to help with parenting. There will be also be several opportunities for extra classes and demos, called “Pregnant In The Piedmont Tiny Talks.” For a full schedule, see image to the right.

The event will also feature giveaways, prizes, and shopping opportunities. Once you register, you will be eligible for many door prizes that will be announced through out the day.  You do not need to be present to win, but all prizes must be picked up at Novant Health Forsyth Medical Center by 3 pm the day of the event.  The first 100 families through the door will receive a free reusable swag bag with goodies, discounts and other items.

For the kids, Pregnant in the Piedmont will present a visit from Elsa and Tiana. They will be on-hand to greet your little ones, pose for pictures, and give hugs. Additionally, face painting, a selfie station, and an artist twisting balloons will be on site.

When you arrive, simply follow the Conference Center signs and park in Lot G across from the front of the hospital or in the covered parking garage attached to the hospital. You will see the Conference Center on the front of the hospital to left.
