Flash back to March of this year… the day the world stopped. Do you remember how confused, overwhelmed, and paralyzed we all felt? There was so much conflicting information, so many unanswered questions, and so many things we counted on that just… stopped. School was closed, the economy crashed, and we have all been taking things one step at a time ever since.
Masks for Love was born out of a desire to protect and support our Winston-Salem community. This local start up provides employment for individuals impacted by the 2020 economy, while also providing handmade, high quality face masks available for purchase. The company has grown to employ 9 local women, who work together to innovate and create the best possible product!

Community Outreach
Masks for Love’s customizable designs make their products ideal for small businesses and sports teams – creating uniform, professional masks that can be customized with a company brand or sports team logo. Their list of clients includes local bakeries, schools, doctor’s offices, hair salons and baseball teams. They have even incorporated specialty clear masks for workers such as speech pathologists, teachers, doctors offices and more. These masks come in child and adult sizes and include an anti-fog clear panel.
This local business has supported nonprofits such as H.O.P.E. NC by donating custom masks as well as a portion of their profits to help aid them during these difficult times.
In addition to providing masks for the business community they also manufacture handcrafted masks for individual sale. After testing a variety of masks, Masks for Love has designed a mask that meets the requests of their customers, each mask has a nose wire to avoid fogging up glasses, and adjustable ear loops to ensure a custom fit. Their product line includes masks in a variety of sizes, from toddlers to adults. Every member of the family will find a mask they love in a variety of patterns – currently featuring seasonal designs such as Glow in the Dark Halloween masks!
As public school shifts back to in person instruction, Masks for Love is selling 3 and 5-pack bundles of children’s masks. These masks are available for personalization, and each pack comes with a free mask holder!

Every dollar earned goes back into the company – with a large portion of the cost of each mask being paid directly to local sewists.
