It’s a Moonstruck Summer at Kaleideum

July 20, 2019, marks the 50th anniversary of the first humans landing on the Moon as part of NASA’s Apollo 11 lunar mission. To celebrate, Kaleideum is having a Moonstruck Summer!

Escape from the heat and visit Kaleideum to explore the Moon, remember the voyagers in space who took us there, and anticipate the exciting journeys yet to come! Be a part of Kaleideum’s special planetarium shows, interactive learning stations, and moon-inspired storytelling, theatre, and crafts.

Don’t miss the highlight of Moonstruck Summer … a Moon Rocks party for the whole family on July 20, from 6 to 10 pm.  Party like it’s 1969 with the Carolina Crossing band; beer, wind, and food available for purchase from Foothills Brewing and Mayberry Spirits Distillery, science demonstrations, tie dye bandanas, a launch of a Saturn V model rocket, and more!
