Interactive Music Performances & Workshops from Duo Licht

Duo Licht LLC is an established husband and wife, violin and viola duo registered as a small business in Winston-Salem (Andy Licht, violin and Lilian-Terri Dahlenburg, Viola). Duo Licht is committed to the field of Teaching Artistry. They incorporate interactive performances and workshops as ways of teaching, educating, and connecting with audiences and communities around the Triad area: schools, classrooms, childcare centers, libraries, community centers etc. When they create a program, they collaborate with you, your needs, and subject matter. Andy and Lilian want to personally connect and engage with you through music.

Duo Licht strives to integrate music with interdisciplinary subjects, such as literacy, and arts appreciation. Programs can be catered for audiences of any age. Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone in Concert

The Greensboro Symphony Orchestra (GSO) will perform Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone in Concert at the Steven Tanger Center for the Performing Arts on May 1 & 2, 2021 as part of the Harry Potter Film Concert Series. The concert will feature the GSO performing live, to picture, every note from Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone. Audiences will be able to relive the magic of the entire film in high-definition on a 40-foot screen while hearing GSO perform John Williams’ unforgettable score live. Experience the magic with the first installment of the Harry Potter™ Film Concert Series.

Family Photos with Santa from the Winston-Salem Dash

The Winston-Salem Dash will be providing a safe and socially-distanced opportunity for your annual family photo with Santa this year!

Reservations are being taken now for December 6, 12, 13 and 19 online or by phone at 336-714-6862. Spots are limited to 10 vehicles per 30 minute time slots and guests will have the opportunity to exit their cars, drop off their letters to Santa, and take a safe photo with Santa and Bolt for just $20 per vehicle. Time slots are filling up quick so be sure to make your reservations now for your opportunity to remember the 2020 holiday season.

iStroll Winston Salem

Parents: Looking for a fun, outdoor activity for you and your kids – as well as a challenging workout?

You’re in luck! iStroll has come to Winston Salem! Join a community of local, fitness-minded parents supporting each other while getting healthy. iStroll meets for a 60-minute stroller-based workout Tuesdays and Thursdays at Bermuda Run Town Hall at 9:30AM and Wednesdays on Zoom at 3PM. All workouts are conducted outdoors or via Zoom and adhere to social distancing guidelines.
