Choosing a school can be a daunting experience; NGFS strives to make it an experience that is easy, open, and friendly. The goal of the admissions process is for your family to get to know New Garden Friends School and for them to get to know you and your child.
NGFS is a community of learners. From preschool through 12th grade, students experience critical thinking and experiential learning beyond the classroom. Students address teachers by their first names. It’s simple, but significant. It stems from the belief that every person deserves respect. At NGFS, cultivating a passion for inquiry starts with respect and a commitment to students being known, cared for, and thoughtfully advised.

Preschool Stay and Play
Thursday, Nov. 3 | 4-5 p.m. | for prospective Preschool and Pre-K families
Lower Campus at 1128 New Garden Road
In the Preschool program, days are designed to encourage children to explore their surroundings both inside and outside the classroom. Come see for yourself! You will spend time with the teachers on the playground and in the classrooms during this open house.

Fall in Love with Kindergarten
Saturday, Nov. 5 | 9:30-10:30 a.m. | for prospective and current families of Preschool, Pre-K, and TK students
Lower Campus at 1128 New Garden Road
At NGFS, learning matters and so does fresh air and time to play. Children are given the space to create, negotiate, pretend, immerse themselves in imaginative play, and engage with the natural world. Come out and play, and learn more about kindergarten at NGFS!
Join teachers and staff on the playground, and make new friends during this open house! Siblings are welcome to attend. In the event of rain, this session will be rescheduled.
