2021 Ghoulash Virtual Costume Contest

Get your creative juices flowing, because GYC is hosting the 2021 Ghoulash Virtual Costume Contest, October 11-24. This is a completely virtual contest being held on the Greensboro Parks and Recreation’s Facebook page. A Facebook post will be made at 8 AM on October 11. You will upload and share a photo of you in costume to the post. GYC members will judge on “Best Children’s Costume” and “Best Family Costume,” and Facebook users will “Like” their favorite submissions, and the most “liked” submission will determine the “Fan Favorite” winner.

Winners will be announced on October 30, 2021. Do not forget to visit the drive through Trick-or-Treating at the 2021 Ghoulash in Downtown Greensboro on October 23 from 2-4 PM!

Forsyth Family Magazine’s Kid’s Morning Out

Grab a friend and bring the kids for a morning of fun for Forsyth Family’s Kids’ Morning Out at Hanes Park Tennis Courts! This event will take place on October 11th from 10am – 11:30am.
This is a free event for kids of all ages! USTA North Carolina will have activities to promote the game of tennis. Cross the green footbridge near the Hanes Park playground and look for the KMO group on clay courts 1, 2 & 3. Kids must have tennis shoes on. All other gear will be provided. Each adult also receives four tickets for the fabulous prize board! Such a fun way to spend the morning and meet new friends!
