Leah Hazelwood Goes Red for Women’s Health
“I lost my father and several grandparents, prematurely, due to heart conditions. This makes me personally passionate about educating our community about the power we have to live longer, healthier lives, with preventative lifestyle choices,” shared Leah Hazelwood, vice president of Go-Forth Pest Control and chair of the Guilford Go Red for Women campaign.
In Guilford County, Go Red for Women is supporting nutrition security, improving blood pressure control, focusing on workplace wellness programs, and empowering women to form healthy habits to give them the best chance at a healthier, longer life.
The Guilford Go Red for Women Luncheon is a celebration of women’s health successes, on May 6, 2022 from 11:30 a.m. – 1 p.m. at the Sedgefield Country Club in Greensboro.

Opportunities at Merriwood Christian Camp
Merriwood Christian Camp, located in Clemmons will host over 1,470 campers this summer. Campers will learn new skills, experience activities on their 68 acres, play innovative games, develop teamwork, and experience outdoor adventure activities!
MCC’s mission is to help campers find and pursue life in Jesus. MCC is seeking college-aged summer team members who love the Lord and love working with youth to fill paid, 11-week summer ministry positions. Benefits include room and board, weekly salary, opportunity to learn new skills, and opportunities to build relationships with campers.
MCC’s main staffing needs are Guy Counselors and a Health Assistant Coordinator. Minimal positions remain for Girl Counselors, Food Service Team, and Maintenance/Grounds Crew.

Imprints Cares 2022 Summer Camps
Unplug for the summer and join the fun at Imprints Cares 2022 Summer Camps. These camps are designed for rising kindergarten students through rising 6th graders. Students are divided into teams based upon their grade. In addition, activities are tailored to meet the interests of children of all ages. Three sites are available including Meadowlark Elementary, Union Cross, and IC Downtown.
Each themed week features 2-4 field trips, STEM activities, and exciting art projects. The 2022 themes include: Shark Tank, Pirates of the Carolinas, Wonders of Weather, and the always popular Survivor VII. Morning and afternoon snacks, supplies, and field trips are included in the affordable weekly rate. You may choose the weeks that your camper will attend. Imprints Cares Summer Camps are staffed by the team of teachers and staff that you have grown to know and trust throughout the school year. Register today!
