Workshop: Save, Spend and Give
For Kids 7-13 and Parents/Guardians
When: Saturday, July 15th | 10:30AM
Where: 3530 Advantage Way, Winston-Salem, NC 27103
About the Activity:
Children will learn how to divide their money into three categories, “Save, Spend, Give,” with a fun, interactive activity that both you and your children will enjoy. The activity involves decorating a spend, save, and give jar, which will help your child learn how to allocate their money into different categories.
As children decorate and personalize their jars, Jobana will discuss tips to help parents teach basic age-appropriate money principles that will help set a healthy foundation for their future financial success.
Workshop: Credit Cards 101
For Teens 16+ and Parents/Guardians
When: Tuesday, July 27th | 5:30PM
Where: Virtual| Zoom
About the Activity:
One of the leading mistakes adults often quote is the mismanagement of their first credit card and not understanding importance of credit scores early on. In this workshop, Jobana will discuss how credit cards work and how using them responsibly is an important piece in building a path to financial success. Piedmont Advantage Credit Union welcomes teens and their parents for an opportunity to gain valuable insight on navigating the world of responsible credit strategies and must-knows before even having that first credit card in hand.
