Got Skins?

Got Skins? These can be a great gift idea for anyone, but this product is especially perfect for those hard-to-please teens and tweens. I also love this idea for college students because Got Skins? is officially licensed for Greek sororities. Found atPaperSassy, Got Skins? are fun and unique personalizations for ALL electronic devices. You name a device and there is probably a skin for it! Got Skins? turns these devices into an extension of one’s personality by adding a monogram or stylish pattern. Wait until you see all the choices on PaperSassy’s website! You can also stop by the store in Kernersville to see these in person. I am sure you will leave with a “skin” for yourself, too!

Pillow Cases

Another cute, yet useful, idea for kids from GoosiePie Monograms.  These pillow cases are SO soft.  They are available in two sizes – standard and travel size.  As you can see from the photo, personalization is added on the pillow.  You can choose to add a name or monogram.  There are also quite a few colors and styles on the website from which to choose.  These are great for everyday use or for sending your kids to sleepovers!

Crayon Carrier

These adorable carriers (pictured right) are locally made and found at Invitations Only. Each pouch includes a notepad and small pack of crayons with the same corresponding design as the cover of the pouch. And adding your child’s name to the top is a cinch!

Music Boxes

I think this is a great gift for a child because it is something they can keep forever.  I don’t know about you, but music boxes just melt my heart!  The sweet sounds automatically bring back memories to me about whomever gave me the music box.  I found some nice, reasonably priced ones atFamily Christian Stores.  I liked these because the box itself was plain, but you can choose a card insert for the specific person you are giving this to.  (Grandmother, Godson, etc.)  Or you can replace the card with a photo.  Some of the music boxes here even had the option of choosing which tune you would like it to play.

Kids Plates & Bowls

A gift that a mom will thank you for – it is usable AND does not include a million pieces that you will find under the kids’ beds.  My children each received a plate as gift from my mom last year from GoosiePie Monograms.  These plates have been used and put through the dishwasher just about every other day, and they are still in great shape!  Tons of colors and designs from which to choose and of course a child LOVES anything with his/her name on it!  You can choose from a monogram, a name, or just a single letter.

Carrie and Tuck Note Tote

I  discovered the Carrie and Tuck Note Tote from Boatman Geller at Sassafras Paper, an online business run by two moms from Winston-Salem, and also realized what a great gift it is for teens.  It can be personalized with a stylish white circle monogram and comes in four  fashionable colors, pink, kelly green, navy and chocolate.  Outfitted with a writing pen, acrylic clip board and padded writing sheets, and coordinating stationery, it helps you keep all of your cards, stamps, and labels in one place.  It easily fits in a large purse for when you are on the go! We love the portability of this tote.  Plus, it’s a convenient way to carry an iPad or e-Reader.  $38, monogrammed.

Boatman Geller Placemats

Sassafras Paper has a wide selection of stylish Boatman Geller laminated placements for both adults and children. Each placemat can be personalized with a name or saying. Makes a great gift for newlyweds, friends celebrating the holidays in a new home, any child, or even for yourself for the holidays. They come double-sided and are 11″ x 17″.  If you order today or tomorrow, you can take advantage of the 20% off sale – Reg. $22, Sale $17.60!

ZouBaby Boots

I stopped dead in my tracks when I strolled through PaperSassy and spotted these boots! Although I am featuring these for kids and teens today, they are going on my Christmas List, too, because luckily they are come in women’s sizes as well! These classic black rubber boots from ZouBaby are available in whole sizes at PaperSassy and can be monogrammed with any thread color you desire! Your little ones will flip when they see these under the tree and your stylish teen is sure to enjoy these as well. Shop online through the link above or stop by PaperSassy to try these on!

Also at GoosiePie Monograms are these super cute cotton fancy pants that come in three different colors.  Adorable under their favorite dress! Most of the bloomers (and boxers) featured on GoosiePie’s web site go up to size 3 (18 months), there are other styles that will fit children up to 36 months.

Personalized Lap Desk

I discovered the monogram mecca of Anything Joe’s at the Junior League Boo-tique this year, and these personalized lap desks also caught my eye. They are perfect for coloring, eating, and as a platform for reading in the car. Each lap desk features two side pockets for storage, and is hand painted to order with any of its 50 designs for just $16.99. Anything Joes’ will also personalize for no extra charge!

Personalized Storybooks

My kids have a bunch of these and they ask me to read them over and over again. “Personalized books for kids make your child the star! Designed to educate and entertain, Frecklebox.com offers personalized coloring books and personalized children’s story books in both hard and soft bound.” ~ Description taken from Frecklebox’s web site

Just Me CDs

We still carry some of these in our car for my kids and their friends to listen to. They all get a kick out of them. “Imagine the delight your child will experience when they listen to a CD that not only features their favorite character, but also mentions their name over 50 times during the 30 minutes each of these music CD’s plays. Choose from Disney Princess, Elmo, Barney, VeggieTales, The Wiggles or Mickey, Minnie and Goofy Sing-a-long. Only one name can be printed on the CD.” ~ Description taken from PersonalCreations.com‘s web site
