It’s official – today is the day our Christmas tree comes down. I absolutely dread this day – not because of the clean up, but because it marks the end of the holiday season. Every year I tell my husband I would keep the tree up all year long if I could, and I really would. I think he knows that, and it scares him to death. For people who live in the city limits of Greensboro, High Point and Winston-Salem, trash crews will collect Christmas trees on your regular trash collection days. Crews ask that you get your tree out on the curb early, remove all decorations, and cut the tree in half if its over 5 feet tall.
