Sept. 9, 2023: PlayDaze Event at Keeley Park

Ready for School, Ready for Life (Ready, Ready) and The Basics Guilford will be hosting the first-ever PlayDaze event on September 9 at Keeley Park in McLeansville in partnership with Greensboro Parks and Recreation. The free event will run from 10 am to 1 pm and will celebrate the importance of play for young children and their families. The event will showcase a variety of outdoor activities hosted by community partners – all in close proximity to the “Up In The Air” All-Inclusive Keeley Park Playground. The event highlights The Basics Guilford public information campaign that encourages caregivers of 0-5 year-olds to focus on five “basic” caregiving practices that maximize brain development for the children in their care. Learn more here.
