The Kellin Foundation hosts their annual event, Journey to Brave, a family friendly concert and celebration featuring the folk-rock new grass band Gipsy Danger on Thursday, September 22, from 6-8 PM at Center City Park in Greensboro. The event, emceed by WFMY news anchor Tanya Rivera, celebrates this year’s merger of the Kellin Foundation and Mental Health Greensboro. Admission is free but donations are encouraged. All money raised will help Kellin Foundation provide free mental health and substance use services to more than 13,000 children and adults annually in the local community. Come out and support a great local nonprofit at a fun event with a great cause!
The Kellin Foundation’s mission is to strengthen resilience among children, families, adults and communities through trauma-informed behavioral health services focused on prevention, treatment, and healing. The Foundation provide free services that help clients break cycles of trauma that contribute to mental health and substance use challenges. Our team of highly-trained professionals helps people process what has happened to them, to practice new skills that contribute to healing, and to gain confidence that they can chart a different course for themselves and their families.
