A few weeks ago the TMoM team shared a “dinner meeting” together at Cafe Pastain Greensboro, and our expectations were more than met at this phenomenal Italian restaurant. We chose to hold our meeting at Cafe Pasta because not only had a few of us had dined there before (and loved it), but also because several TMoM readers had mentioned Cafe Pasta as a favorite business in Greensboro. Turns out, we liked our experience so much we encouraged the owner to offer a special deal for all TMoM readers so you can see for yourself just how wonderful Cafe Pasta truly is.

Now through August 31, 2013 – kids eat FREE off the Kids Menu! All you have to do is mention Triad Moms on Main, and Cafe Pasta will knock the price of your child’s meal off your tab. This offer applies to children ages 10 or younger, and is limited to four children per family. Cafe Pasta’s Kids Menu includes Classic Mac & Cheese, Pan-Seared Chicken Tenders, Spaghetti with Homemade Meatballs, plus “Create Your Own” dish – each entree for $4.99.

Nestled among other quaint shops, spas, galleries and businesses along State Street in the historic McAdoo Heights neighborhood of Greensboro, Cafe Pasta prides itself on always preparing meals using the best, freshest and most natural ingredients. “Our food, sauces, and salad dressings are all made from scratch. Unlike most restaurants, especially chain restaurants, we do not use prepared or processed foods with chemical preservatives, artificial food color, or other chemical additives such as MSG. We are passionate about quality,” says the Cafe Pasta web site, and after one visit, you know they mean every word.

Two of my favorite types of food are Italian and seafood, and I was able to combine those two loves together when I ordered Cafe Pasta’s bouillabaisse (a house specialty) tossed in a spicy red clam sauce (you can make it as spicy or as mild as you want), and the dish was second to none! Plus the price (under $20) is hard to beat for that type of dish at any other restaurant.

Here’s what other TMoM members had to say about their experience:

Café Pasta is a hidden gem. The food was delicious and made-to-order for each of our tastes and the desserts were sinfully good. I would recommend it for couples, work lunches and group dinners with friends. The menu has something for everyone! ~ Kristie

I would have to say that the risotto was incredible. You can cater it to your liking and add whatever you would like. It was delicious and I appreciated the waitress’s recommendations as well.~ Rachel

I enjoyed our girls night at Cafe Pasta because it felt fancy in a casual atmosphere. The portions were big and I left satisfied and full! The variety of items on the menu was exciting and I can’t wait to go back soon. ~ Dani

I love Cafe Pasta because they are willing to tailor your order to suit your specific tastes. They listened to what I liked and didn’t care for and made the seafood risotto perfectly with my favorite vegetables and the perfect amount of spice. My last visit with friends was a great night out and I am already thinking ahead to my next visit! ~ Ashleigh

The food is excellent, the service is top-notch, and the value is unmatched. Cafe Pasta is perfect for lunch, parties, banquets (they have free, private room), and they’re available to cater your next event at your location. Plus, every Thursday and Saturday night from 7 to 10 pm you can enjoy live music.
