Day Camp at YMCA Camp Hanes
The Day Camp Program at YMCA Camp Hanes offers campers and parents, who may not be ready for an over-night experience, an alternative. The program runs in week long sessions, Monday-Friday. Campers can get dropped off and picked up at three convenient YMCA branch locations in Winston-Salem or at camp itself.
While at camp, campers get the opportunity to participate in traditional camp activities: water zip line, archery, and canoeing, just to name a few. Campers also get the chance to grow and develop through their accomplishments, a sense of belonging, and forming relationships.
If your child loves being outdoors and trying new activities or is a bit more timid and unsure day camp is a chance to explore camp and your surroundings in a fun and safe environment. Visit camphanes.org, for more information or give the office a call at 336-983-3131.
