It’s Time for Spring Cleaning

Have you recently opened your curtains and blinds only to discover the dreaded pollen and dust build up? It happens to all of us, which is why TL Cleaning Co. is ready to get your home in tip-top shape for spring. Tina and her crew are available for deep cleaning, window cleaning, power washing, and regular schedule-as-you-need-them cleanings!

TL Cleaning has been providing high quality cleaning to Winston-Salem and the surrounding communities since 2008. Everyone on her staff is carefully screened, trained, and efficient. Appointments are available on a weekly, bi-weekly, monthly, special occasion, and one-time basis. Call Tina Plummer at 336-391-0049 or email her at to set up your appointment, and also ask her about her part-time employment opportunities!

Mobile Laser Tag from Sabertooth Taggers

LASER TAG is TACTI-COOL! It’s not the same as when we were kids. Sabertooth Laser Tag has all the latest games. With bluetooth-paired equipment, the experience is like “being in a video game!” Watch your health, reload your tagger, avoid getting hit, and if you’re out, you might need to find a re-spawn box to get back in the action!

Sabertooth Taggers is a mobile laser tag business. That means they bring the party to you! And it is not just for kids, adults can get in on the action too. When they show up to your location, they will set up 6 feet tall barriers for players to hide behind and run around. They are Covid Safe! Since the game is outside, all players are breathing fresh air. Players naturally distance themselves from one another. All equipment is sterilized prior to each event. And every player gets a bandana to keep!

Visit their google page to read the 5-star reviews. Players must be 8 and up. It’s time for you to experience!

Join TMoM for a Meet Up and Playdate

It’s been a while since we have been able to gather in person, so we thought we would throw out a “meet up” opportunity for any of our readers who are comfortable meeting at a local park. This will be SUPER laid-back. Simply show up, chat with some moms, meet some new friends, let your kids play, and just enjoy the afternoon. No need to RSVP or commit … just swing by if you are able! A few of our TMoM team members will be there, along with fans and followers who might be interested in getting know other moms in the area.

When: Sunday, April 25, 2021, 3 – 5pm
Where: Leinbach Park, 3635 Sally Kirk Rd NW, Winston-Salem, NC 27104
What else: Bring frisbees, balls or tennis racquets for older kids if you wish. Since we will be meeting outdoors, we will not be requiring masks, but please wear one if you are more comfortable doing so.

We look forward to meeting some of you in person. If we have a good showing, we will plan to do more of these in other Triad areas! See you then!

Kids, Parent, and Sports Podcast Episode

What were sports like when you were young? Are things different now for your kids? How are you as a “sports parent?” Too involved? Not involved enough? Do you believe sports are for college scholarships or for fun?

These questions and many more were discussed in our latest Triad Moms on the Mic podcast when Laura D, Laura S, Kodia and Kelly gathered at Moji Coffee! Click here to listen to our latest episode and others if you haven’t had a chance to check them out yet!
